Mercury Free Dentistry
For the past 19 years our
office has been completely mercury-free. When replacing missing tooth structure
there are many alternatives to the traditional silver/mercury filling. Our particular
favourite type of filling for replacing large areas of missing tooth structure
is the lab processed white filling (inlay/onlay).

The lab processed filling
has a micro fibre reinforcement and on the second appointment it is then
bonded and cemented to the tooth to restore the tooth to it's original shape
and strength. It has equal wear to enamel and these teeth look beautiful.
